At the April 16, 2025, meeting of the North Carolina State Board of Elections, the State Board granted the

You do not need to take any further action regarding this penalty. A copy of your waiver request and this
notice shall be posted to the State Board’s website or sent to the applicable county board of elections. This
waiver does NOT modify or amend the obligation to pay any other penalties that may have been assessed
against the committee. This waiver does not prevent the State Board from issuing penalties against the
committee for any future noncompliance with North Carolina’s Campaign Finance Laws.
If the committee is open and active, the committee must comply with all ongoing reporting requirements.
